United States Lawful Permanent Residency is formally known as Green Card. It indicates the immigration status of a person who lives and work in the United States of America. There are two types of Green Card. One is Permanent Green Card which is valid for 10 years and another one is Conditional Green Card which is valid for 2 years. A person who wants to renew his/her green card has to follow these steps.
Step 1: Go to www.uscis.gov from your web browser
Step 2: Check your eligibility before you are going to renew the green card
Step 3: Under the GREEN CARD tab, you will find the Renew a Green Card and click on that
Step 4: From that page download the separate application forms for permanent and conditional green card
Step 5: Fill out the form correctly and carefully
Step 6: After completed the application form,attach the supporting documents and send it to the nearest immigration office by mail
Then follow the instructions regularly which is send to you by the mail from USCIS. After that you will get your green card successfully.
